THE MOM SQUAD is a 90 minute, uplifting comedy extravaganza combining the talents of 4 of the funniest women in the country. Wendy Liebman, Amy Anderson, Jennifer Rawlings and Judy Gold. These ladies all do stand-up, interact on stage together (reminiscent of the rat pack) and take questions from the audience. THE MOM SQUAD is a universal hit because everyone is from hilariously dysfunctional families and these ladies talk about marriage, family, dating and motherhood just like it is……totally messed up. Wendy Liebman (HBO special, Showtime) Wendy started her career as a performer in the basement of her house on Crescent Lane in Roslyn, Long Island, New York, where she and her sister and her neighborhood friend put on the play Rumpelstilskin. Wendy went to Wellesley College, majored in psychology, and then went right into therapy. Wendy has been performing stand-up comedy for about 20 years. In 2003 she married Jeffrey C. Sherman, and became a step mom to two amazing boys. Amy Anderson (Comedy Central, Showtime) Don’t let the name fool you… Amy Anderson has been described as “a skinny Margaret Cho” and “a heterosexual, Asian Ellen”. Amy would describe herself as “a funny American girl who happened to be born in Korea and adopted by Swedish parents in suburban Minnesota”. Amy is a true one-of-a-kind on the comedy scene and her act will remind you to never judge a book by its cover. Ultimately, Amy decided music was not her calling and hearkened back to the advice of her first grade teacher, Ms. Nickel: “Amy, you should become a comedian… now go to the principal’s office.” After a lengthy stint in the principal’s office, and a couple years working as a temp, a waitress, a dog walker, a luggage salesperson, a boarding school dorm mother, a boy choir manager and a behavior modification specialist for autistic adults, she decided to check out the Twin Cities comedy scene. She spent six years working in Minneapolis/St Paul as a comedian, theatre and commercial actor, sketch writer and improv teacher and performer before heading to Los Angeles. Jennifer Rawlings (USA, TNN, Comedy Central) Writer, comic, filmmaker, and kick-ass mom Jennifer Rawlings has appeared on stages around the world. You have seen Jennifer on Comedy Central, CMT, PBS, FOX, VH-1 and more. She has shared the stage with everyone from Faith Hill to the Vice-President of the United States. Jennifer often leaves her family of five children to entertain the troops. She has performed in over 300 military shows in Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kosovo,UAE, Djibouti, Qatar, Bahrain, Macedonia, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Korea, Kwajelean, Guam, Japan, Iceland and several other countries. It was after these trips to war zones that Jennifer began her career as a filmmaker. Jennifer’s powerful directorial debut “Forgotten Voices: Women in Bosnia” has received critical acclaim and has been invited to screen at film festivals worldwide. Several universities have also included “Forgotten Voices: Women In Bosnia” as part of their curriculum. Rawlings has written a children’s book, magazine articles, including Reader’s Digest, television specials, weekly blogger for hybrid mom, and after dinner speeches for prominent world leaders. She is a featured writer in the book “I killed Road Stories From America’s Top Comedians” published by Crown. She is currently finishing a new book. Jennifer lives in Los Angeles. Judy Gold – (Comedy Central, Vh1, Tru-TV) In grammar school when the teachers would say, “Act your age, not your shoe size.” shewould reply, “Same thing.” She doesn’t remember grammar school being that horrific except that at a certain point she grew taller than her teachers and lots of the kids’ parents. She was an exceptional student, except she got a “D” in self control in 4th grade. Anyway, she didn’t really fit in – you know, being tall, loud, huge, funny, gigantic, with orthopaedic looking shoes. The cliques started forming and I was in this really small one. There was one member and she was really TALL. For Booking and More Info:
